The Invoice Template should be used when a sponsor or partner has made a verbal or written commitment to provide support and needs an invoice to process donations through their internal system. It serves as the formal request for payment when a sponsor's finance team requires an invoice. For example, when a company pledges a sponsorship during a meeting, and asks for an invoice to submit, a community partner that confirms support by email and requests an invoice for their files, or a local business verbally commits to sponsor an event and needs an invoice to enter the payment into their accounting system.
It is recommended to fill out the Chapter name and Chapter address in advance for the donor. This way, SCORE HQ will know where to allocate the funds to.
