SCORE Kansas City is hosting an inaugural event in The Entrepreneurs: Small Business Success Stories. 

This is the first in a series of casual one-hour discussions where successful Kansas City entrepreneurs will talk about their business journeys – the challenges, the hard work, the failures, the successes – answer questions, and make it real.

April 13 is the first event, with a second one set for May. The chapter is marketing through Constant Contact, targeted Facebook ads, and digital local business media. Every community has compelling business leaders. The first two speakers in Kansas City's event were SCORE mentoring clients 20 years ago!

This is your chance to hear from one of Kansas City’s most successful entrepreneurs, Danny O’Neil, founder of The Roastarie. Learn from the “Bean Baron” about the challenges he faced in starting his coffee business “from scratch.” Follow Danny as he tells about how he built The Roastarie through quality products, hard work, successful partnerships, brand identity and customer relationships.
