It is SCORE's policy not to accept cash payments, nor handle cash no matter why or how it is to be used.

This includes not accepting cash payments for workshop attendance.  In cases where an attendee arrives at a workshop and has not preregistered, and does not have a credit card or a check with them, we should allow them to attend and request that they provide their credit card information afterwards.  After the workshop is completed, you should send a reminder if needed. Our purpose is not to raise money so should someone not follow up with payment after the reminder there is no need to spend time trying to collect.

In the case where an attendee would like to register for a workshop but they do not have a credit card or checking account because of personal situations, it is suggested that we allow them to attend without charge.
